Proclaim the Glory of God on the Net!

"The Internet causes billions of images to appear on millions of computer monitors around the planet. From this galaxy of sight and sound will the face of Christ emerge and the voice of Christ be heard? For it is only when his face is seen and his voice heard that the world will know the glad tidings of our redemption. This is the purpose of evangelization. And this is what will make the Internet a genuinely human space, for if there is no room for Christ, there is no room for man. ...I dare to summon the whole Church bravely to cross this new threshold, to put out into the deep of the Net, so that now as in the past the great engagement of the Gospel and culture may show to the world 'the glory of God on the face of Christ' (2 Cor 4:6). Quo Vadis?

This year, we are donating $500 to support the parish’s Quo Vadis program. Quo Vadis means "Where are you going?" and its members are young men in high school who desire to grow in faithful discipleship and personal holiness to be better able to discover their own vocation invitation from our Lord, whatever that might be. Fathers are encouraged to attend and participate in any group meeting or activity with their high school age sons. Supporting Missionaries in West Africa

For the first time in our history, our council is directly supporting Catholic missionaries in West Africa. Thanks to the efforts of Brother Edmund Nawurah, we are partnering with the Catholic Information Service to provide religious education materials to thousands of people from St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Accra, Ghana, in West Africa. Each Knight of Columbus across the world contributes to the Catholic Information Service’s ministry through his annual dues.
